Join us for a Bumblebee Identification & Monitoring Training Workshop, delivered by our friend, the fabulous Dr Richard Comont of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust (BBCT). This full-day session will introduce participants to bumblebee ecology, identification, and survey techniques, including a practical BeeWalk demonstration.
The training is suitable for anyone who is interested in bumblebees and is particularly useful to enable volunteers to either set up their own BeeWalk or monitor an existing one (we need volunteers to monitor transects across the peninsula). This initiative aims to gather baseline data of bumblebee populations throughout the UK.
