Join us for an inspiring, uplifting and informative evening of short talks, great food (in the form of a hearty, organic one-pot wonder) and sublime music from the talented band, Glas Captains.

Andy Holcroft is running the London Marathon 2026 on the SAS fundraising team to raise as much money as
possible for this vital charity. The work SAS do is important to us all to ensure that clean water should not be the exception, but the norm, not just for us humans, but to the wildlife that call water home. From organising endless beach cleans, to monitoring sewage overflows, water cleanliness, lobbying parliament and holding those responsible to account, SAS have a huge job in fighting for water justice for us all, and they simply couldn’t do it without our help.
We are bringing together a wide range of professionals and industry insiders who have their roots in the rivers and sea. Each speaker will have 5-10 minutes to deliver their story about their connection to the rivers and sea in and around Pembrokeshire.
Confirmed speakers include an underwater wildlife photographer; boat adventure operator; ecologist and wildlife farmer; the founder of a charity which challenges decision makers to improve nature conservation in Wales; a Sea Trust and SAS rep’; Campaign for National Parks ‘Source-to-sea’ founder and Dwr Cymru river quality liaison manager. These lively, informal, yet inspiring talks should hopefully leave us with the inspiration to better look after our wet stuff and will also hope to leave us with a take home message on what we can all do to help make a difference.
There will then be time for some questions to the speakers, before a hearty one-pot wonder made with locally sourced organic veg’ is served alongside St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery award-winning craft ales (beer/other drinks not included in ticket price).
Then settle in for the melodically and lyrically sublime Glas Captains who will be sure to stir up a whole load of emotions with their wonderfully balanced and crafted sounds!
And what better place to host it than at the multi-award winning Dr Beynon’s Bug Farm. The talks will be held in the newly opened Nature Recovery Centre which explores our relationship with farming food and nature in the past, present and future.
There will also be some live ‘background’ music here and there, and a raffle: who doesn’t love a raffle!
All this for just £25 per person. All profits will go straight into the SAS fundraising pot, and of course if you’re inspired but cannot make it, you can donate here.
We hope to ‘sea’ 😉 you there…
