Entrance Ticket

During school holidays only, you can pre-book onto an Up-Close Meet the Bugs session online before your visit too. You will be prompted to book this session once you have booked an Entrance Ticket. We strongly recommend you book this session in advance of your visit if you are hoping to do it, as these sessions often book up in advance. At other times of the year, you will be offered this session on the door if we are running sessions on the day of your visit.

*Disabled visitors pay our standard admission prices and this automatically includes an accompanying carer space free of charge. We never assume a disability so proof of disability is required to get your free carer place. This can be any of the following forms of documentation:

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Blue Badge (photo ID required)
  • Signed letter from GP (photo ID required)
  • Access Card

Documentation should be dated within the last 24 months.

Voucher/golden ticket holders

Please book on the number of people visiting and then add your voucher code at checkout. The relevant discount will be applied to your booking. For example, if you have a free child’s ticket, book that child in as usual and then enter the voucher code at checkout.

Non-UK cards

The website cannot process some non-UK card transactions. Please pay on entry if this occurs.
