Bumblebee Identification Workshop

Interested in bumblebees? We have limited spaces on a full-day fully-funded bumblebee identification workshop with Bumblebee Conservation Trust Science Manager Dr Richard Comont, author of RSPB Spotlight Bumblebees book. This wonderful workshop starts with a morning classroom session learning all about British bumblebees before we head out into the field to put our newfound skills into action.

Wales’s first marsh fritillary butterfly reintroduction

13 years after they went extinct on the peninsula, we are bringing one of Europe’s (and the UK’s) rarest butterflies back to the peninsula. You can come and see these iconinc butterflies in their breeding pens on the Farm Trail before their caterpillars are released here later in the summer. This really is a unique opportunity to see a very rare butterfly.
